Experts warn starting school too young harms learning, wellbeing

Sydney Morning Herald, 26 Jan 2014  – Children in Australia start school younger than almost anywhere else in the developed world, up to two years ahead of students in top-performing countries. If they start early, they should have a developmentally appropriate curriculum rather than the formal curriculum currently set by governments.  Read the article here
